Have faith in the heavens of the after life where his soul awaits for you to be re-united as one.
I will pray for you instead,
God, I lift up “cookie” to you. You know her needs and you know her heart. She is broken hearted and weary and heavy burdened God. I ask that you give her peace and comfort during these times of sorrow. Show her your shoulders make good crutches God! Show her that you are the living God and that where you are, there is freedom! This life passes away but your home you have made for us in heaven never passes away. Give her security and reassurance to know that her husband is in your care. This tender heart needs you God, and her tears are many. Dry her eyes Lord so she can look towards where you are and find faith hope and love. You are the God of all comfort. Attend to her now God, her every need according to your will. In Jesus name,Amen.
Your husband loved you and God loves you. Do not loose sight of who you are and who you are to become. Allow yourself to grieve but also allow yourself to enjoy life, one baby step at a time.
A cheerful heart is good medicine, and if it’s just sitting alone watching a funny movie… that is a good start.
God Bless, shannon
Hey all…thanks very much for your supportive comments and prayers. You really cheered me up and I can’t thank you enough. We had a religious gathering and it was amazing; I couldn’t believe the numbers that turned up. I prayed and cried and prayed and I feel so much happier and positive about things now.
Srnityblue, how weird that you replied! I’d been thinking of adding you to my friends list but forgotten your name and haven’t bumped into you much since…you’re very sweet…thanks SO much :)

I am so happy to hear you had such a great turnout for your husband. You handle this pain with so much grace. You are truly inspiring and your husband must of been so proud you were his wife. You honor him with your love still.
