Does anyone have experiance in kite building?

I am looking for some plans for a 4′ flexifoil or parafoil that I could construct (or any size, I just need the basic design). Does anyone know where I can buy some plans or get some for free?

ill have a look for you i know of a program that lets you make a single skin kite. give me a good 10-20mins to dig it out for you.

Ok well heres a program that allot of the people who build kites use, its purely a traction kite. You wont be able to make yourself a kite like you’d buy from flexifoil of peter lynn but these kites are still very nice.

Using these you can make, 2-4 line kites and calculate the sizes you want via the program so you can actually make yourself a quiver.

p.s i recommend peter lynn arc kites, once you fly them you’ll never look back :)

hey thanx a million! yes I’ve been doing kiting since I was twelve. My dad got me interested in it more as I got older since he does it for a hobby… :D

Its a great sport, have been thinking of making myself one or two of these kites for those days when my phantoms don’t quite fit the bill.
