Computer Software Question.

Does anyone know of any good FREE software that will allow me to put some photos (preferably with music) onto a DVD (to be played back on a DVD player/TV not on a computer).

I have tried Anvsoft’s DVD Photo Slideshow which was great until it came to burning the actual DVD which doesn’t work. I tired it several times and even got the technical support where I work to try it but it just wouldn’t burn it. It said it was burning it but it didn’t even touch the disc. (all obvious avenues here have been explored).

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

You need a burning program like Nero or Roxio to work with your editing program and it should burn the disk. Remember when you setting up to burn to set the prefrences firs and the burn speed, the slower the better quality. Hope this helps :-)

Have you tried to burn anything else lately? It could be a problem with your drive…

I have copied a CD which worked ok. I think the drive is fine. I think it was a problem with the software. There must be more free software out there that people use for this. ???
