I need to know if I’m the only one out there having trouble…

..

I was recently laid-off from the company i worked for.. me along with sixty other people…. unfortunatly, I dont have a high school education nor the money to take the g.e.d. this is very dipressing and I have no Idea what to do… The employers in my area aren’t interested in people with bachelors degrees much less a high school drop out without a g.e.d.

You don’t need money to get a GED. See your local health and human services center and they usually have programs for people jsut like you.

In the meantime, check out a temp agency. You can get odd jobs there to help you out while you’re looking for a more stable one.

It just seems like when I go in…. you either need tons of expirience, or education. expirence I
have… but in construction…..which is, well doing a bit of a belly flop right now…….

First thing’s first. Get your GED. You don’t have to pay anything to get one if you’re unemployed.
