can you guys help me?

i have a serious problem with a ps2 and a gameshark. my ps2 won’t load the gameshark and i’ve tried to run the cleaning disc and it didn’t load that. i got the gameshark running once but when i tried to activate some codes for a game i put in there, it started to load it but it froze and the black screen. Please, help me!
