home help: my 1997 olds bravada starts but the shifter won’t come - Help.com

my 1997 olds bravada starts but the shifter won’t come

out of park , when pushing the button on shifter i hear a clicking from under the dash , i’ve already checked the brake light’s and fuses , i got it home by unhooking the linkage and putting it into park that way….any suggestion’s would be great..
