They say it’s because pain (it’s common practice in Korea to skin the animals alive) creates adrenaline and makes the meat tastier , which I’m not sure is scientifically acurate.
Human greed, selfishness, arrogance and evil are what causes it. Humans think animals don’t have feelings and are inferior to us. Or only like the ‘cute’ animals.
“Disgusting” sums it all up.
But as long as there’s even 1 person willing to fight against it, there’s always hope.

I dont know, I’m guessing your talking about like farms that supply the country and world with food, not private farms, cause we never beat our animals to death on my farm. I would have been really pissed at my dad if I ever fould out he did crap like that. Jesusmurphy I really only like the “cute” animals, basically any animal, except birds, but I still find it disgusting when people abuse them too. I think its all based on how you were raised, and what you believe
