Can anyone out there tell me how to find a grant for school, I Don’t want to pay some web site company to do what I know can be done for free.

Due to a medical condition called DDD or degenerative disk disease I have to change my current work field. I am in school now finishing up my first semester. I am also a vet. of the USMC but I do not have any benefits available. The vocational rehab is picking up the most of the cost to go to school but there are other expenses I need to pay. I am racing the clock my doctor’s tell me I could lose the use of one or both of my legs if this disease gets worse. I know a lot of people suffer from DDD but with mine I have chronic pain so bad I have to take over 200 mg of morphine every day just to get up and go to work. I am studding for my degree in computer science so if the worse does happen I can still work in a wheel chair. Because I can work I am not eligible SSS. I am not just trying to get a free hand out I want to go into medical research so i can other people with the same affliction. Sorry this is so long but it’s hard to describe everything in just a few words. Anyone with knowledge of where I can go or who I can talk too I would be in your debit. I am all registered with fast web and other sites like that

I havent read your post, but plan on it. Try going to www.cfda.gov. If it fails for some reason,let me know here or shout me anytime I have more.Your smart not to pay when you dont have to. OH, And if your disabled there should be help with that too. I tried, but with the navigation and all ,i ended up giving up. But thats just me. Good luck my friend.

you cant get SSI ? i dont understand that. I know it will go down when I start to work, but thats awful. Especially since your a vet.BTW- Thats not a long post,you should see some we get,I just shake my head and go to another when they are a book lol :)
