Take anything. You can always look for another job. For example, you get a job as a cashier at a gas station, so at least you have a check coming it while you’re looking for something better.

oh man.. I was going to say craigslist. I’m seriously the worst person to ask about jobs, but I would also check the local newspaper in the classifieds, or the pennysaver.

I feel you, bro. There is such a rough time for the economy and so many people put there and I am concerned for myself often. I have been in that boat not to long ago. Just go to the charities and head up to social services for food stamps and just ask someone if you can crash at their place, and no matter what, keep yourself clean. No drinking no smoking, no drugs. Just don’t go there with that stuff it makes you someone people would want to welcome more because you aren’t spending you cash onthat crap, plus you need to downsize; reality is none of us NEED that stuff to survive; they are just pitfalls and addictions. Go seek a church. Tell them about your CRISIS. DO NOT be too ashamed to be keeping this to yourself to a church. If the worst happens, i would SUGGEST never ever looking down on yourself or letting others get away with doing this to you, either for what is happening in your life. You are not alone; there are many people going through devastating stuff due to the economy. Hang in there, and hold onto G**; he call help you through this awful mess of a time for you.

If you need to find a new place to live, you should check around for people looking for roommates. Are you in college? Do you know anyone looking, or are there ads up for those sort of things? Some sort of security guard might be good. Like mall security or something.

From reading your posts about the kind of jobs you are most comfortable with I was trying to go for more outdoorsy type of jobs that have openings … maybe a landscaper or gardening work…

I’m sure you’re already registered on www.CalJobs.ca.gov, but I thought I’d throw that out anyway.

Something that I hear over and over about finding a job is that you should consider finding a job an actual full-time job. That means spending as much time on the effort to find a job as you would expect to spend working if you had a job. I know that seems like a lot of time, but the truth is that once you have your job, you will be working during those hours anyway, so it’s like training yourself.

Good luck!
