oh sorry they probably don’t have the big issue in detroit, is there an equivalent?
Is there a magazine that homeless can sell and get paid for doing so like in the uk?

it’s easy enough to say join the military… what about starting from ground up with job at a fast food place or grocery store or something like that? the goal, at the very least, would be to just start earning an income so you can possibly rent a room in a boarding house (detroit has plenty of places that do that) so that you won’t be homeless anymore…. Start there and set goals to do better, maybe see if you can get financial aid to go to school to get a better job and back on your feet… Michigan has the No Worker Left Behind law now where you can go to Michigan Works! and take classes to get a better job…. You have to start somewhere to get somewhere!

Help me with: So i was starting to feel a little better and more encouraged and less depressed…

Hello i’m also homeless i’m a 41 year old woman unemployed i currently getting ready to sign up for school but have no shelter but i’m going to try anway. i lost my job in 2006 and it’s been down hill since.

Im 42 I lift wieghts, run, ride bike cant join military cause I was six months to old.But if you serve in reserves for one year you can join. why not see if I CAN PASS ANY TEST FIRST.Icant even get job any department stre over 200 aplications or more several stats know this stupid age thing.I healthy no bad habits dont even drink at all 18yrs jap plant now this.wont be long crimes going to sky rocket.

I cannot stand people who judge the homeless. Maybe if you were in the situation you would understand. Just because your ******* homeless doesnt mean you cant get access to anywhere. Scoffers are teh ones who will pay in the end. God has a plan for those people. I am a mother who worked 17 years of my life was married 10. Had to divorce him due to abuse and him cheating, I got cancer, I had a neck injury, I had to lose my job because of it. I am still looking for work and havent had any luck with anyone wanting to hire me. And now that I have been down and out, all people do is kick me further down. It is horrific thing to deal with. SO to all you idiots who think you know it all, Screw off!!
