Any gift ideas out there?

I’m kind of in crisis mode now because my friend’s (he’s a guy) birthday is in less than a week, and I have absolutely NO clue what to get him. He is also my ex-boyfriend, but it really doesn’t matter because we’re still friends.

So, do you all have any suggestions on what I can get a fourteen-year-old boy? I’m kind of on a tight budget, so it would help if it was creative, yet affordable. Thanks.

This might help you out…
He loves the NY Giants
He likes Linkin Park
He likes sports

Eh, I know what wasn’t much, but it’s something…

Does he like hats? Get him a gift card for a hat store or something.

If you want a joke gift, get him a Giants ball cap.

Not those ones. These guys.

You could MAKE him a card too lol (doesnt matter if you’re not artistic)…. That way, it’s more thoughtful cos you have taken the time and effort to do it, and the money that would have gone to the card can be put towards the present… thats what i do anyway :D

Get him a NY hat, there are lots of types and you could probably find one that he doesn’t have yet.

Alternately, does he have the new Linkin Park album?

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I thought about the whole hat idea, but we were talking on the phone yesterday, and I casually mentioned how I liked hats, and he completely disagreed with me… :( So he shot down that idea… and from past conversations with him, he really doesn’t like the new Linkin Park album (it’s a long story, but it’s understandable… he’s still a fan, just not of the latest album)…

Goodness, he’s a picky boy.

Just buy him anything lol, or, ask him what he wants. i KNOW it’s not very imaginative, but at least you’ll know he’ll like it =]
Or, you could do both…. ask him what he wants, and buy him a little thing (thats worth a couple of pounds/dollars) aswell… like a side present. That way, he’ll still have a semi-suprise =]
It works with me LOL

Haha, so I did ask him what he wanted, but he said, “I really don’t want anything for my birthday. Don’t get me anything…” But of course, I still want to give him something, I just don’t know what…

Buy him a plant, and tell him you’re saving the planet!
OR you can buy him a chicken/rabbit/a tree for a country in Africa. They don’t cost much.
Now that present WOULD be random lol
