so i was trying to update my ipod, then i disconnected it unintentionally, and the screen turned white.

now when i try to turn it on/off it it makes a strange beeping sound, and the screen is still white. what happened/ how do i fix this?

The beeping sound MIGHT be an alarm that might have been set.
I guess you can try connecting it to the charger, waiting for a while, then trying to turn it on.

You can go to apple.com and get the manual for your ipod. They should be able to tell you there how to reset your ipod–without hurting it further.

Did you attempt to push down the middle button? I have the video and it restarts it when I do that. Hope it helps!

i tried all of it—pushing the middle button, pushing the middle& menu button….um i left it charging for this past time but i dont know if its on/off cause of the white screen.

Are you still under warranty? Mine did something similar, and eventually I sent it in to be fixed. They just gave me a new one.
