well if it taste sick dont eat it take it off
YEAH HA HA
Supposedly your not suppose to but it’s not posionus it’s not going to make you sick and ya it probably is fatty to some degree, but I’m sure it’s fine for you. I think it’s just an old wise tale, I was told the same thing and always ended up eating it.
all fish have oils which are present just under the skin and in the skin.
These oils are considered to be very valuable for your health.
Both for the oil value and the vitamins.
There is nothing wrong with eating the fish skin. I’ve eaten it off of cooked fish since I was a child. It usually tastes better when fried, but some people eat it from a steamed fish too.. I just don’t like the taste then. I would assume it has fats in it just like other animal skins.
Fish skin doesnt contain the same kinds of fat that chicken does. It contains Omega3 oils which are absolutely essential for your health and non fattening. Theres lots and lots of info on the net about Omega 3’s, you should read up about it. Its really interesting. If you can manage to eat fish at least twice a week, you’ll be in great shape. So chow down !!!
Actually, this site explains it well http://www.womens-health-fitness.com/…
