We had 3 guppies we got for a small children’s fish tank. Two of the guppies died the first day. The third one “Lucky” died two days later. When we went to drain out the water, my daughter said “look something is moving in there” Sure enough there where 7 little baby guppies. So we went from a $10 kids toy fish tank to spending something like $250.00 for a nice fish tank set up. Then some of the babies got sucked up in the filter. (make sure you have a cover over the thing that sucks up the water into the filter) None of the guppies are left. But I do want to get more. They are fun to watch.

Aw, thats so sad. Yeah the babies are so tiny at first. I dont actually put a filter in the tank with them, out of fear that they will get sucked up. But yeah, i agree, they are fun to watch, and interesting that theyre giving birth to live babies when other fish lay eggs.
