friends help: I am falling hard for a friend of mine. - Help.com

I am falling hard for a friend of mine.

Lets call her J. We met through a friend a couple of years ago but until recintly we were just firends and only saw each other in passing. Now that we have gotten close our mutual friend (lets just call her M) doesn’t like the idea. So, with that in mind J doesn’t think we should be together or even try. What should I do. Should I let it go and just continue to be friends with some I really care about or should I try to convince her that everything will work out. M should want us to be happy, right?

Sounds like a mess. Yes, I think that M should want both of you to be happy until they are afraid of being left out or jealous. But don’t let that come between your friendships.
