RE: importing non-delimited data into a spreadsheet

I have 169 rows of data (24 items/should be columns) that I need to import into a spreadsheet. The problem is that I got it by opening a .DAT file and it is NOT delimited– not by commas, not by tabs, etc.

Re-entering that data will be a huge pain ( I have two more .DAT files with just as much data)

Aaaagh!!!!Help me please!

Please tell me there is some way to make this work– someway to automate spaces or tabs or commas between those numbers (single digits) so that it will separate out into the spreadsheet columns.

I apologize if my lack of knowledge is apparent in my post…

I’m going to go change my kids diapers, and hope that someone sends me the magic spell while I am gone….

I used the text to clumns to get this–I’ll try the next part.. here are two lines of data.

1324*323324333342333333 132433111133133331313313

Each digit needs to be in its own column. sigh
