Does your brother live with your parents ? What kind of financial position is he in ? Is he remorseful for the situation he has put your parents in ? Also, what did your brother do to put your parents into debt ? Sorry about all the questions. Id like to comment on your post and it would make it easier to do that if you could provide some of this info.

You might be able to talk to the bank that has the mortage, and let them know what is happening, they may be able to offer assistance, I would think that they would not want an elderly couple to be put on the streets.
Also, it sounds like you need to be appointed as administator of there finances. This may be done thru the bank, and a lawyer. They need to be protected from the son, and from themselves.

I think you need to talk to your parents about their situation. Bring the subject in a nice way. Because their situation is so bad….I guess that your brother needs to stop putting your parents in debt and that would be done only if they stoped him… not you… but you could help them know the situation they are in.
God wouyldn’t leave good people alone whatever happens. Especially people who help others. Bad times might come but lots of people will sure help you. Just be there to stand beside your parents.
People like your parents will never feel sad getting all this love from all those people, even if they had a really bad time…God is there to protect them always..

Most loving parents like yours give everything they have for their children. I think it is wonderful you were able to give back what you could. I am sorry they are going through these difficult times… no parent who has given all they can for their children should have to go through that. My heart goes out to your parents. Maybe you could talk to the pastors at the church they attend and see if they could give your parents some help or at least some guidance. It is really sad to see people that have big hearts like this lose something that is dear to them, but knowing people like this they don’t talk about their problems and things that they are facing with other people and that is why I suggested that you speak up for them. I would also have a nice long heart to heart with your brother because it sounds like to me that he is taking advantage of them. Silver has pretty much covered any charities that I could think of but I would definately become their voice you might be surprised to find out how many people would be willing to help them out for all the service they have done…Good Luck.
Here’s something that I thought of and I don’t know if you would like to do it but you could get donations from people such as merchandise and have the church auction it off for them…Thinking out loud… :)

charity begins at home at if your parents don’t realize that well no Jesus ,no Mohamed is going to help .Don’t know what your brother did to make your parents lose there house? He is the one who should go to the banks or whatever loan they have to
fix this problem .Believe me if he is not willing to fix this problem the bank will
take the house .The end result for all the good your parents were thinking of doing
a little bit naive .the end result is no one else is going to give you money for being to nice ….

I would sit my brother down if I where you and find out what he can do to fix the mess he has made. Your also going to have to explain all of this to your parents. I know it doesn’t seem fair that all of this is happening to them but they will get through this. I bet they pretty well know what is happening to some degree.
S. Don’t delay in starting to get things going just because you hate to talk with your parents about this. It won’t get better only worse. Take action today. Talk with them and speak with the morgage company.

Theres been times when I got help and wanted so much to return the favor, but didn’t know how. Don’t be hesitant to ask those he helped in the past, they may not have much,but they will be happy to help in any way they can. And what about resources like pantries and such? Any thing there? It sounds like its up to you,since your brother is a dunce, to dig deep and do what you can.As for your brother,? Make him aware of what he has done and remind him of (Honor thy Father and thy Mother’) I wish I had more options,Keep doing what you can and leave the rest to God.If you haven’t already,put your brother in Gods hands.Worked for my son,and it took the pressure off of me.Oh, what about government grants or contacting your local newspaper?And there are sites you can check out.I only know 2- Digital Charity and Modest Needs. You are such a sweetheart to help your family! There are a lot who would not do that and just walk away. Wealth can be measured in many ways and for some people, the spiritual gifts received in helping others means more than any financial element. Maybe talk to your parents and tell them your concerns. You have a lot of great resources. I looked on my list to see if I had any others that might help. The ones I had are on this list but I have friends helping me look things up so if I can find more, I will let you know.
