i live in co.

dublin (ireland) and my parents want to move to co. sligo wich is 3 hours away from dublin. i would like to move but i am afraid i will not make friends in sligo. what should i do?????

See it as a new challenge. You’ll make friends, unless you punch everyone you meet. Ask your current friends what they like about you to help build your confidence. It’s an exciting adventure. Enjoy it.

I think you will be fine. You will definitely meet new people and if you want to visit your friends in Dublin, you can visit them on a weekend or something since it is 3 hours away. Everytime I move I think the same thing, but I always end up making new friends and still retain the older ones. Just be yourself, and those around you will build friendships with you.
