I just got accepted to a very accredited school of nursing, but I can’t decide if I want to go or not.

I loved the idea of the medical field but I don’t know if I want to deal with people all the time. I would always have a job and there would be good pay, but I just don’t know. Do ya’ll have any advice??

Money doesn’t make a person happy.

When do you need to decide? If you don’t have to decide soon, then take some time out to see what it would be like. Have you done any work experience in the field.

Money and security are all well and good, and many people do jobs that they don’t particularly enjoy. There are limits. I may be kind of ok, or it may be just bearable. Try and find people in the field and ask them what it is like. Ask them things that you will have to do, and see if you can do those things. People generally will be honest about it.

Nursing is not for the faint hearted, you can’t really do it and not like working with people.
