I have a job interview tomorrow, what should I say is my greatest strength/weakness?
At my last interview when they asked me what my greatest strength was, I told them that I am a very kind person and can get along well with others, they seemed to like that. But when it came to the weakness question, I choked up and just kept going “umm, umm, umm, not sure”
So what is a good weakness to say that isn’t too negative and isn’t the normal corny answers they are used to hearing?

Where were you?
You can also watch events on Help.com as they happen
well tell us what some of your weaknesses are. You’re mad about chocolate.
and your trying to get a job in a chocolate factory?
perhaps you could try the humor thing. Tell them that one of your weaknesses is
you can’t lift over 190 pounds.
lol. I like the humor approach. but you will still need a safety…i’m thinking.
Sometimes you take your job too seriously?
If your job is dealing with the public. Tell them that one of your weaknesses
is that you like to please the customer.

don’t you mean “I am too tight with money”
you are having a hard time finding your weaknesses. You must have some.
Everybody have some.

You are too tight with money?
Certain employees would like to think that was an asset. Because they’ll think
that you’re going to be careful with their money as well.
well, my main weakness is that I am a shy person, but that isn’t any good for a job that deals with customers haha
and most of the other weaknesses im thinking of saying, sound way too scripted
Yes script is not good. And yes the shy person wouldn’t be the best to mention.
“My greatest weakness is that I can’t just leave my work lieing around, if I start something, I have to finish it”
but that sounds pretty scripted haha
pretend I’m your employer. You walk into the interview.
And I say to you ,” so have you found out what your weaknesses is”
what do you answer.
Hey, wait a minute here there are two of you “blackninjaforev” and “Krysty”
who’s the one who’s really having the interview tomorrow?
me =)
well, most of my real weaknesses that apply to the job world, would be definite reasons why they shouldn’t hire me, like kinda shy, lazy, very dependent haha.

really what would you say?
“My greatest weakness is that I have trouble asking for help, I like to get things done on my own.” or something along those lines
even though it is a blatant lie, because I always ask for help haha

well I think you finally got it.tell him that you like to do things on your own
but you often ask for help.
The weakness being “that you often ask for help”. I like that because it can be
taken two ways. You’re a pain because you ask for help. But also your good employee
because your trying to do it the right way.
ooh, that is a good idea, I might go with that, thanks
great, grand, wonderful!
This site has iinformation on interviews and how to prepare for them.

I hope that helps :)
Make you strength something useful to the company you want to work for (so do your research), and your weakness, whatever it is, should be something you’re trying to improve. Also, make sure you look dapper. I was at SYMS clothing store the other day, and they have some reaaally good looking designer suits at hugely discounted prices. Good luck!
