My boyfriend just got back from Heartland Christian Academy.

He’s so quiet and withdrawn. He wont even look me in the eye. I’m not sure its a good thing. Does anyone have any experience with this school?

Bad bad Bad school. I was sent there. I will never be able to be who I was before. They beat your spirit out of you with “swats”…And looking a girl is one cause for these. They call it reckless eyeballing. I’m sorry but he wont be the same ever.

That school is weird. My fiance was sent there. They do give swats. They “spank” the boys for interacting with girls then preach that being gay is a sin. They have had so many abuse cases over the years its not even funny. I’m sorry.

It is a Christian lockdown for teens which are being investigated by several watch organizations. They believe in intense use of corporal punishment and both People magazine and New York Times did an article about them. We have the link on our datasheet about the facility:

i was sent there and those demon crazy people need there heads to be checked out…
they abuse the kids and give them no freedom…and i’ve been out for 8 months and i am still the same person they didnt “fix” what i was sent there for but now i am just angry and sickened by what goes on there. they need to be shut down!!!
