Auctions are like Christmas…

only you are giving yourself the present. You buy a box of stuff and hold it or pack it into your vehicle until you get home. When you finally take the time to really go through it you discover treasures untold. Today I found a tiny little pocket knife…less than an inch long…looked like mother of pearl handle…a funny little dude wrapped in rabbit fur with a really large nose…who held a sign reading “I nose I am a beautiful person”…it was so cute. Also at the bottom of the box was a smaller box filled with small very old christmas ornaments…talk about christmas…they were fragile and beautiful. Any other auction nuts out there??????

Ive never been to an Auction house before and actually bid on anything. But I love LOVE searching around Charity stores/shops for the odd brilliant thing! there are some really awesome Charity shops around South of England - and Ive recently heard of some in the US that I need to visit.
The best buy Ive had from a Charity shop is the ‘Hedgehogs Revenge’ board game. It is a very funny and confusing game. I dont have the actually box any more (due to moving) or the original dice but I do have everything else. I got it for like $2.00 about 3 years back and I still have it to this day! heheheh
