i think that what is good id that it’s surreal, it can show a lot of things in the sort of shapes and colours used. but, like any taste in art, not everyone likes it. I personally like some abstract, but i find some slightly scary.

Abstract art’s pretty cool… kinda like Inkblots… kinda… abstract art can be used in Psychology… Just to see how crazy you are…

Abstract art is “good” because, i think, it appeals to a lot of people…it dosent matter what the picture is, what matters is what the picture MEANS to you. It has different meanings for different people, even the artist. Sometimes its refreshing to see and interpret something out of the ordinary, something you don’t see everyday.

There is good abstract art and there is bad. And as much as I love a lot of it, there is a lot of stuff that does not appeal to me out there.

It is what you see in the work yourself. Is it clever, well executed, thought provoking, etc……

Don’t look at one field of art as a whole, break it down and look at individual pieces, take each piece of work on its own merit.

it makes you use your brain and when you draw it, lets go of emotion and allows people to see what you’re thinking without actually knowing.

freestyle, i do abstract art and dont ask what its like cuz there’s no point, it doesnt resemble anything lol
