this makes absolutely no sense. Do you mean properties? Elements are the smallest non-divisible unit of matter. Metals can be solids or liquids or gases, which is a physical property not a chemical or atomic property.

Earth’s naturally occurring elements like sodium, iron, lead, gold and nickel are mined, refined and combined to create alloys. If your “metal” is an old coin that your grandmother gave you, then the three earth elements might be silver, copper and nickle.

Solids are a state of matter’s level of atomic excitement.
