Write in Sand and Stone

Today, my friend yelled at me.
I wrote in sand my friend yelled at me.
Today, my friend punched me.
I wrote in sand my friend punched me.
Today, my friend cursed me.
I wrote in sand my friend cursed me.
Today, my friend abandoned me.
I wrote in sand my friend abandoned me.
Today, my friend insulted me.
I wrote in sand my friend insulted me.

Today, my friend asked me for forgiveness.
I wrote in stone my friend asked for forgiveness.
Today, my friend saved my life.
I wrote in stone my friend saved my life.
Today, my friend made me smile.
I wrote in stone my friend made me smile.
Today, my friend told me she cares for me.
I wrote in stone my friend cares for me.
Today, my friend was grateful for me.
I wrote in stone my friend was grateful for me.

I wrote in sand the bad things my friend did to me.
I wrote in stone the nice things did to me.

Winds will erase the bad things written in sand.
Nothing can erase the nice things written in stone.
Forgive and Forget

Friend

A friend is someone you love
A friend is someone you know
A friend is like a flower
That you can help to grow

A friend is like a bird
A friend is like a plane
A friend points you in the right direction
Almost like a wind vane

A friend is someone there for you
In your time of need
So listen well to their help
And also pay heed

I love the sentiment about the words written in the sand and stone. Very pertinant to me just now. Thank you.

I have a problem with my friend. Couple of relatively small betrayals and I can’t trust anymore.

I love the writing in sand and stone poem. It is so true. We should all write the things done wrong to us in sand (not take them to heart so quickly even though it’s hard sometimes) and let the wind (time) erase them with ease and forgive. Though we should set in stone all the good done to us to always remember it over the things written in the sand. I think this should not only be used with friends, but also everyone around you. I also think that I need to take my own advice, I tend to hold grudges that I shouldn’t hold on to. Thank you for reminding me about that. You have put a smile on my face today. :) I love poetry and wish I was gifted with it, yet all that comes from me is dark and sadistic poems. I’ll post one of them sometime.

*hugs*

the names of the poets I have given..I just liked their sentiments and wanted to share them.

I am not trying to mislead anyone into thinking I wrote them.

I will put some of mine up one day but at the moment my english is not that good.

I will make this more clear in any future posts.
