Strange a “loner” should want a friend.

ive once spoken to her but that was last grade when our grade was going on a five day trip and i was in the same cabin with her

she does talk a lot and she was nice but its hard for me to talk cause i dont know how to socialize

try to catch her eye and smile and wave… then the next time you pass her say hi… then th next time you’re around, you can spark a conversation without feeling awkward.

I think this is related but im not sure

one time me and my neighor fought a lot so one day my mom said ” kill her with kindness” so i waved when possible, smiled too.. ten one day we became best friends.

well you can start by always saying hi when you see her….every time.
ask simple things like “how are you?” or “how was your day so far?”
you can ask about her classes, whats her fav. ect.
ask what kind of books shes in to and stuff…..just not question after question of different topics try to stay on same topic and when the topic dies think of another… and so on. try to get comfortable and be casual and most importantly be honest and yourself.
just be open
