You know.. everyone has those feelings at time where they just need to pull over, get out and walk away! It wasn’t crazy at all that you needed to get out and walk. If this stuff happens on a regular basis, you might was to see someone about how to control your emotions. Your emotions are normal… you’re not crazy… and getting out of the car wasn’t too far, that was probably something you actually needed to do. But when emotions get so bad that it spills into thinking you may lose your job over a “break down”… you need to pull it back a bit and get your emotions under control where it may be inappropriate to lose them.
Don’t worry, you’re not crazy… you just need a little control. :o)

Oh, and about your boss… be honest and humble about it. Go into work Monday and apologize for the freak out and tell her you’re sorry for bringing your personal life into your professional work. Be honest and let her know you may be going to see someone to get these emotions under control and it won’t happen again :o)

And go see a doctor! I had a coworker who literally couldn’t work for a couple of days every month due to severe cramps. Going to the doctor helped her a lot!

I flipped out on the motorway today (was very emotional and anxious about work) and stopped my car on the lane and abandoned it for half an hour while I walked through the woods by the embankment. That was after I had deliberately nearly driven into a lorry. I then got back in the car, drove home. Called my dad and trawled over all a past issue that happened 10 years ago that I have never told anyone about. (he was supportive) called my boss and told her I had some relationship issues (very inarticuately!) and couldn’t go to work. Have contemplated suicide. Changed my mind cried alot.

Now I have severe stomach cramps…..so it seems i have *PMT*!!!!!!!!!!!

I do this kind of **** on a regular basis. Last month I packed my bags to leave and spent the night ranting at my partner because I felt so ugly. There is a pattern here.

I am soooooo scared now because I am on a temporary contract at work and could loose (yet anothr) job over this.

I am really embarassed…..
