My best friend is in foster care.

He is 16 years old now. Last year we got into an argument when he tried to get me to help him run away from home and I refused. I havent spoken to him since then. I want to ge in contact with him again because I really miss him, but I dont know how to contact him. Is it even possible to get in touch with kinds in foster care? If so how do you think I should go about it?

I don’t know BUT … Are you from the UK or US? Because there are different laws and they do things in different ways.

If you tell people that then you may get some more accurate advice.

there is a way of contacting him.. however… to start, you would have to contact your local social service agency or CPS.. as they are the ones who have all the information.. BUT.. im sure that its all confidential.. but maybe there is a way that they can pass your number or information onto him.. i do know that my daughter was in foster care and she was allowed to give out the phone number and address to her friends.

Then contact social services and CPS. Ask them to give him your details. And make an envelope with a couple of ways that he can contact you.
