Sending another one out there…
Today it was sunny so I heard music in my head and did the beat with my teeth while I hammered away on the keyboard. I waited patiently for everybody to leave the office, locked the door and burts out in song. I felt free.
The man across the street put a new message in his window. It says “I love you”. who is it meant for?
A bird was eating the carcass of its mate. All of the people took out their phones and cameras to take pictures of it. The cars stopped out of curiosity. people gathered to watch. I don’t understand.
I bought new clothes yesterday because all of my clothes are dirty and I’m too lazy to clean them. I feel quite good about myself for doing this. I look like a new version of myself. One that is unaffected by all the mistakes that her alter ego did and feels pretty, confident and all grown up.
I want another kiss…
