Requesting Occupational advice

I chose that word carefully :-) I don’t nessesarily mean career, or job, schooling, life direction, etc. But rather, I’m interested in your ideas about things I could look into to occupy my time, given the following…

I really enjoy creative thinking and problem solving, but not so much the implementation part :-) I’m the type of person that really enjoys identifying a problem (of ANY kind), trying to figure out the best possible solution, maybe prooving my idea somehow (build somthing small, write somthing, present something, etc.) But then, be done with it. I’m really bad at following through on a project, because to me, it’s the *problem* that I enjoy the most.

So, a few examples of things that are attractive to me are: Acting/Directing, Psychology, Designer (of something), Architect, Detective, etc.

So, any off the wall, or realistic, or crazy, or far fetched, or traditional, whatever, ideas?

If you’re willing to put in time for a career, I’d say go ahead and become a psychologist.

Well, I do already have a career :-) But, regarding psychology, I actually would enjoy being able to spend some time (volunteer) in a psychology type of environment. But, I can’t think of where this kind of opportunity exists… e.g. play a psychologists role, with no formal education :-)

thanks for the invite sag… based on what you’ve written, I suppose any of those that you chose… (counselor especially) but there are a few business options as well. Operations Analyst, Human Resource Personnel Specialist, and Scientist (biotech is a hot field right now).

This site is where you do that, unfortunately with no pay.

But to your question in general… if I ever find a such job I will need to find two, of which the second is for you.
Because I will take the first one for myself…
