Freakonomics Book Recommendation

In case you haven’t visited the Thunderdome lately, I’ve pasted the link above to the site’s latest post, which is an exceptional review of the trendy business book Freakonomics. I won’t give it away, but the post talks about the author’s experience and attitude towards business books in general, and how this book is different from most. Overall it sounds worth reading.

I also tried to post the Amazon link below– I wanted to show a graphic of the cover and was wondering if the Thunderdome would get credit for it’s affiliate leads even though purchases may originate from help.com…. but help.com doesn’t seem to render the image, in fact the site deleted the html from my post! No fear folks, you can still link directly to the product on Amazon from the Thunderdome itself– whew!

hi Max - the book image should be autogenerating, but there may be a bug with the code. as for giving thunderdome the credit for the affiliate lead, we are working on a way to support this using the image/link autogenerator feature. you also said that the site deleted the html from your post - do you mean that when you tried to link to the book on amazon, the contents of your post disappeared?

odd– the first time I pasted the amazon code, the image wasn’t visible, so I did it again and now I can see it. Sometimes it’s the top half, sometimes the bottom half of the image. The AMZN image was the only code I was referring to.

How about you buy the book via my post and let’s see if the T-dome gets the referral credit?
