Your not supposed to like hitler. He is so evil. I’m german and my great garndfather was a nazi, and I hate his guts and I’m glad he rotted in prison.

Hitler? A great leader? You must have Hitler mistaken for someone else.

I think what you meant to ask was, why was Hitler such a powerful leader? Everyone knows he was a bad person. The same could not be said at the time of his dictatorship.

If that is what you meant, then that is a valid question.

I understand the question as how was he great, great meaning good at leading and powerful. As said above, he was able to rally people. People, even before, had had something against the Jews, (and still do), he used the confusion there already was and united every non-Jew against the Jews, using them as a scapegoat. The excuse he gave for killing anyone different was that he blamed them for what was wrong in the world. At first he told people what they wanted to hear, this helped him rise to power. Then he killed everyone who opposed him, killing off any chance of him not being leader. People followed him out of confusion at first, not knowing what was to happen until it was too late.

Sorry if this was in any way incorrect.

I have no idea how to answer this question. He was a ‘great’ i.e influencial leader in the sense that he lead alot of people to commit the most awful violations against humanity. But not good……….definately not good.
Why was he powerful…? well I’m sure there are lots of books you could read. Anonymous has condensed it for you above.
