My boyfriend is extreemly irresponsible!

Last night he went out with friends in my car, he used all the petrol and claims to not have money to re-fuel it! he took my cell phone with to call his buddies, forgot to lock the keypad and ended up calling my mother and other contacts at 2am! he came in at 5:30am, passed out and when i tried to wake him up he ignored me! eventualy his lift to work got irritated waiting for him and left so i had to take him to work and be late for my job! He also locked the car with the windows open, wheres the sence in that?
This i only one incident… I could write a book on how irrisponsible he is.
What can I do? I fear his behaviour will drive us apart eventually!
Sincerely
concerned

I think that your fear is justified. You are not his bloody mother and by the sounds of it you are going to be mothering him forever. Surely you have better things to so with your time than to constantly run after him and watch how he destroys all your things?

You’re dating a boy. You need to find a man.

First of all, do not take care of him. Do you expect to be there all the time when he does stupid stuff like that? Tell him that he hate the way he acts and that your not to put up with anymore. If he tries to change his way then you know he really cares about you and if he doesn’t then he doesn’t.

That’s sounds like a lot of hard work. Tell him to get it together. You could have a small child to wipe up after and rescue all day if you wanted that. How are you to consider him capable of a job, a relationship, or to father your children, when he behaves in an irresponsible manner and puts you in danger of being called the same.
