You will either need a wireless router or a switch/hub. Connect your Dsl Box to the router or hub uplink port if you have dsl. If not it will be real slow with dial up. Then connect each computer into the router/hub. Some routers and hubs that have cds that take you step by step thru setting it up. Then you will want to run Network setup wizard on Windows XP both computers. Windows 98 is a little more difficult but can be done. Then both computers should be able to access the internet with Dsl. A dialup modem or windows 98 is a little more difficult to explain. Make sure that in Internet Explorer under Tools Internet options make sure your connection is set to never dial a connection. Hope this helps
