Friend problems?

I have these 2 friends. One I have been fighting on and off with for about a year now. The other one I have been friends with for about a month, but she WAS my best friend. Recently, we got in a pretty big fight. Then she automatically went to the friend I was fighting with for a year, and I know that they have been talking crap about me. The friend I have been fighting with for a year has some pretty dirty stuff about me because we used to be friends, so I guaruntee that they have been sharing secrets. What should I do? Is it time to go new friend shopping?

Sorry for the bad spelling/typo.

hmmmm an interesting choice of words. And just where do you BUY your friends when you shop for them. OK, I understand that this was only a phrase, but our words mean so very much more than we give them credit for. Your words suggest that you have very shallow friendships, the sort that you can buy. First you need to take a good look at yourself, and find out and accept what part YOU had in being friendless right now - I can assure you that you are not completely innocent in this. When you can fix that part of you, when you start loving yourself, then yes then would be the time to share that love and make new, stronger, life long friends.
Bright blessings ~ Richard

I have always run with the idea that I don’t share secrets I don’t want people knowing. Especially if they are THAT important. Some things aren’t even for my closest friends to know.

Sounds like new friends is a good idea. They don’t seem very trustworthy or reliable. If they are hurting you like this, you need to find some new people.

I went/am going through something like this too. It’s a pain in the ****.

If any of this bothers you, you could try to patch things up with both of them… but at least with one, it sounds like the fighting never stops, so maybe it’s just time to let go of that “friendship”.

I would probably just forget about them and move on. Perhaps the one you were fighting with originally even tried to lure your new friend away… but now they can “sympathize” with each other about how AWFUL you were!! ;) Don’t even worry about it. If they want to act that childish and gang up on you now, they aren’t worth having as friends.
