At the moment web designer for educational web sites and presentations, but typically website designer, graphic illustrator and animator for individual clients. Also a perpetual student. They recently changed an application I mainly use in my work … always find I need to update skills or add to them.
hmmm anything with a pulse is considered a beautiful girl in ireland. The biggest insult would be for someone to tell you that your sheep is ugly.

well, personally, i do not work any longer due to a tumor that i have.. however.. my entire life i was a cashier… except 8 of them, i owned my own daycare business and a couple months as a t-mobile cell phone operator… by the way.. t mobile sucks… lol..
I work in the Murderonomy division of Boston, MA’s forensic pathology department. I do Murderology.
Also I love T-Mobile.

our call center was based right here in utica ny, but the stupid thing about it is… it only works out towards the west coast areas…
me? for saying that t mobile sucks? if you knew the things that i knew… you wouldnt like it either… plus.. did you know.. we are allowed to give anywhere from 50 to 1000 free minutes.. if the customer gripes enough… (for free)
i dont work there any more..

personal caregiver for special needs children in Bloomington IL
with me.. with having a license, you are allowed 8 school age children.. and you charge what ever you want… the pay rate is really high per child.. but be sure to make contracts.. that way, you are covered not only with your own vacations and rules for summer… but this way… it covers you incase someone decides to pull their children with out a notice.. then you too get that pay when you take them to court.. it is a really great job.. you get to do arts and crafts and play all day… i made about 2 grand a week.. it was nice..rando wrote:

what about the stress? do you get stress or satisfaction the most out of your jobs
it was very stressful.. but with the breaks.. if you take only school aged children.. it was nice.. because for one.. if your yard is fenced in.. you dont have to sit with them while they are outside playing.. for another.. they go to school.. so you can make your own appt’s and such.. and have your break during the day time.. during the summer, i always………………… always.. had quiet time… in which we sat down on mats, had snack and watched a movie.. that was my break for the summer time..
that’s like… er… 250 bucks a week for each kid… 50 bucks a day from each set of parents… that;s good money

but see, opening a school.. you need to go to college.. for a daycare… all you have to do is a 10 hour safety course.. then 30 hours of schooling a year.. thats it.. and then the visits from the child people a couple times a year.. but thats it.. no college needed.. oh yeah.. you need a clearance form.. which states whether you have any kind of neglect or abuse towards children… but after that… you are all set.. plus, there are programs that give you free food for the kids weekly, and programs that give you things that you need for the daycare, toys, mats, etc.. and everything is tax deductable.. the rooms you use, your cable, phone, electric.. everything… lol..
well guys.. i must go finish cleaning the house.. ugh… but it isnt going to clean itself… lmfao.. ill be back a bit later… ttyl.

Well I guess its lucky I went to college then. Besides which, i don’t wanna look after kids. I wanna teach young adults, designers, hairdressers, architects. That’s what I’m interested in. The tax deductibles sound nice and all, and I’m sure kids are great, but its just not ME.
thats cool.. wishing you best of luck with all that you want to do..

I work in lawn and garden. 6 people were supossed to work tonight. I was the only one who showed up. A long line of people at the register, and a guy wants an 80 pound lawn mower. On the to shelf. 20 feet off of the ground. Guess who has to climb a latter and carry it down? While getting shouted at the people who want to check out.

Call the guy who works in the back and assembles bicycles (my dad’s old job). Maybe he’ll come out and get the mower so you can check people out.

except when you are single of course.. we had phones that tied into each other.. by pushing a button.. at our registers.. so we would always be calling each other to check out this guy or that guy… lmfao.. it made my job fun and go by faster.. lol.
how about them announcement phones placed strategically in the akwardest spots in the store…ha

actually, our phones did everything.. even calling people in plumbing, or electrical… we all had our own little numbers to our phones.. like ours were our register number and such… they all tied in together..
I HATE that. It means it is on clearance. you have to press like 12 buttons to ring up one thing!
at home depot.. our registers were just computers with a touch screen.. it was neat.. but if the item was on sale or if it didnt have a price code, we had to use the computer to find the item.. (if we could figure out what the heck the item was called… lol.. )
Like that self checkout they have now “unexpected item in bagging area”
rayray_skimps wrote:

yeah, i ran those as well.. people getting mad at you because their register isnt working all the while you are tending to the other register.. because at home depot, there were 4 of them.. ugh.. i remember once.. these people were getting really pissed.. and im like.. listen, i can only do one register at a time.. give me a break..
rayray_skimps wrote:

well, im heading off to play my lil computer game… but ill be back later… 12 15am here now, just waiting for my honey to get out of work himself… a job that he could sit here all day complaining about… lmfao… he deals with pallets from walmart.. lmfao… ieh ieh ieh.. but, have fun.. and ill talk to you later… nighty night.

LOL! My father used to work with fish a lot (both dead and alive.) He taught Marine Biology at the uni. I remember he would take me to the nearby hatchery, or to his lab at the university where often and the scent of fish guts permeated in the air. That smell and the memory of slippery scales is still embedded in or lives close to my memory.
