are you useing windows media player 11 ?? any way you need any version after 9

if you still can’t play online vedio you can try go to tools > options > network tab > then make choice for the autodetecting for network then confirm your choice when done restart windows media player and also explorer you are using

then try again i hope it works with you

P.S. \\ try internet explorer 7 it really rules

first so as to be able to watc any thing at hi5.com you must have the latest ver of flash player you can get it at macromedia.com. the whole website is build with flash

and for the upload trouble with your pic it might either some trouble with the site server so some error occure when registration so contact the site admin to check your profile setting
or may be some disturbance in your connecting setting may be you have some firewall that block your down and up traffic

that firewall may also make you unable to watch the online videos

so you better if you are using windows allow the auto uptade it will upgrade your windows to the latest and keeps it protected

if all of that can’t help you you may check your adsl supplier some cases some routers just stops conneecting online

i hope it will be fine

cheers
Amebaid

go to tools, then click internet options then security….. After that click on custom level then, you might as well scroll down to active x………. Click on enable and there you go

Why can’t I play this video in my browser?Print
To play videos through your browser on Google Video, your system must meet the following requirements:

Windows 2000 or higher with latest updates installed or Mac OS X 10.3 or higher
Firefox 1.1+, IE 5.0+, or Safari 1.0+
A broadband connection with 500+ Kbps
If you’re having trouble watching streaming videos, please make sure that you have a plug-in installed on your computer. Most of the videos listed in our search results are flash videos and require the Abode Flash Player plugin. You can install the Abode Flash plugin by visiting http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/downlo….

Some of the videos listed in our search results are non-flash videos that we’ve indexed from the hosting site. We determine which plugin to use by looking at the file extension (.mpg, .mov, .wmv, etc) of the video. If the associated plugin is not already installed on your computer, you’ll be prompted to download the plugin or player. Click here for a list of some helpful links where you can download plug-ins.

If your browser isn’t equipped with a plugin that’s capable of playing a certain type of video and you do not want to install the plugin, you can download the video to watch it. If you click on one of these results while in list view, grid view, or by clicking on the “Watch this Video on [site]” link in TV View, you will be prompted to download the video file in order to view it.

If videos still won’t play in your browser, you may need to enable JavaScript.

To enable JavaScript in Internet Explorer, follow these steps:

From the “Tools” menu, select “Internet Options.”
From the “Security” tab, click “Custom Level.”
Scroll down to the “Scripting” section and enable “Active scripting.”
Click “OK” twice to exit “Internet Options.”
Close all browser windows and relaunch a new browser window.
To enable JavaScript in Firefox, please follow these steps:

From the “Tools” menu, select “Options.”
Check the “Enable JavaScript” check box.
We also recommend checking the “Load images automatically” check box.
Click “OK.”

I pay extra each month for Hughes Net internet service because I want to be able to watch videos and not have to worry about being kicked off on dial up.
