All I want to do is sleep.
I am always tired, all I ever do is sleep when I am home. I feel like I would rather be doing that than socializing with other people. I use to excersize a lot, but now I just feel too low on energy to do anything strenuous physically.
I am a young person - I’ll be starting highschool next year as a freshman. I should have more energy. What is wrong with me?

Well, could be glandular fever. Could be a bit of stress. Could be many things.
If I were you I’d go chat with your doctor about it. Chances are it’s nothing serious.
I have the same problem. I’m a junior in high school. Part of it is my alergies. They really drag me down. I also don’t eat right. Either of those could be part of the problem.
it could be a number of things honestly. talk to a school counselor about it.
Eating right and exercising helps. You got sleep covered but more seriously you could be depressed or have a blood problem. I’m sure it’s on wikipedia.
See a doctor. In addition to the above things, it could be an underactive thyroid.
You could be deficient in iron. Get on a vitamin supplement with iron and eat lots of green veggies and lean protein like fish and chicken. At the age that you are right now, your body is going through alot of hormonal and physical changes. Cut sugar out of your diet, spend at least 15-30 in the sun per day and take a walk even though you don’t feel like it. I have this problem too and usually doing the above really helps me. A blood test would be able to determine whether or not you have a blood sugar problem or something more serious.
I agree maybe its just a part in your life when u get this feeling when i get that feeling i go out and excise it always gives me energy or maybe your over sleeping your only suppoese to get 7 ti 8 hours of sleep maybe you getting over the possiblite
Not to jump to assumptions, but it has been often reported that depressions, crying, and/or sadness can make humans tired.
I have the same problem, I can sleep 7 or 8 hours, get up eat breakfast do a little work and if I sit down I will go back to sleep, matter of fact anytime I sit down to watch TV, read, ect I can hardly keep my eyes open. I also have been this way all my life, had a hard time getting up and waking up. I never really feel good till about noon. It really is a problem and I don’t feel I am depressed any more than the average person. I have my down days, but most of the time I am pretty happy. My dad was a big sleeper, he would nap several times a day. Don’t know but I hate it too.
I am 43 and i have recently adopted two of my grandchildern.I can sleep all time if i get in a car i fall asleep if i sit up to watch tv i fall asleep. I have went to the dr.he said i didnt. hAVE Enough oxygen going to my brain i fell to say i had a heart attach at 40.After that everything started going down hill.I have had a sleep study done and was dignoised with severe sleep admea.
I have that same problem but I have anemia=) maybe you should go to a doctor
you have anemy
Maybe you should have some bloodtests done, I had similar symptoms and was diagnosed with a condition known as haemachromatosis, basically it means your blood stores too much iron, and im told the best treatment for it is to donate blood. Simply because when your body is depleted it will produce new rejuvenated cells, also your diet could be another factor, things like excessive sugar and fats can bring your mind down as well as your body
