TREASURE this time with your family, because it is a time that is very fleeting, and one day you will have only your memories. I am lonely more days than I like, but I have a “new family” awaiting my arrival in Canada. In addition to my wife, there is my 17-year-old stepdaughter (who will always be referred to henceforth as my daughter). My “new” daughter goes from wanting to accompany us to not wanting to be seen with her parents! She has yet, however, to turn down an invitation to a shopping trip! But remember that you can have “solitude” from time to time, and it is something that you actually need so you can get in touch with your own thoughts and feelings. No, I would not want to live alone: been there, done that. One day you’ll probably be married. Just exercise the greatest care in choosing a life mate, because it is much better to live alone than to be living with the wrong person! ;-)
