can someone advice me please?

??? My ex husband lives in Spain and I live in the uk with two of his children of 15 and 12 in the last 11 years he does not support them what can i do? he owns a business in spain and earns good money and thinks I am greedy asking for money???

It is not that you are greedy but your kids have the right for support from their father. Contact a lawyer for that.

u definitelt are not greedy, i mean how can u think that when U r the one supporing the kids for the past 11 years. ur ex is just being selfish, as lilies said contact a lawyer.

I think they take care of everything. They do in Australia. They manage the collection of child support. It shouldnt make a difference where your ex lives, Im pretty sure he is still required to help you out with the costs of raising the children.

My wife was married to a Spaniard. Her lawyer told her that Canada does not have a “reciprocity agreement” with Spain. You will have to see if there is such an agreement between the UK and Spain. Not to sound prejudiced or biased, but it seems that Spanish guys retreat to Spain and figure on not paying any more child support. Good luck!

thankyou so so much for all your kind words for years i have been trying to sort this out for my 12 and 15 year old…actually trying to sort it for the last 9 years and got no where I had contacted the csa and were told nothing they could do but went on the csa link from Mezz and bingo!!!!! help at last!!!!!! thank you thank you thank you. You starsxxx

I don’t know what the laws are in Spain but here in the states you could file a lawsuit against him and get his wages attatched. He helped bring the kids into the world then he needs to help support them financially. Good Luck
