my mum wants me to go to family counseling with her

and my family tomorrow i really dont want to but i’m going to go anyway, but knowing me i won’t talk and just sit there but my mum will think i’m doing it on purpose and she won’t beleive me =[ what do i do?

Ahh i’ve been in the same situation, and my mum killed cos i didnt talk!
But i guess what you have to do is to try and talk even if you dont want to cos atleast you look like your making an effort!

Explain to your mum that you cant help being shy.. i myself am shy (Hence te reason i’m on this site lol xD) explain to her that if you go blank, you dont mean to.. so that she dosent complain at you after..

Alternativly, you could ask her to help you out by giving you questions for you to answer, so you dont appear as shy.

maybe you could wright down some stuff about the way your feeling. and take it with you so you will have your feelings and problems ect to look at when your sitting there.
