I’ve never felt quite so lost in my entire life.
Seriously. I haven’t. I’m not suicidal or anything like that. It’s just that everything makes me feel so freaking depressed. Where to start? In the past three months, I’ve lost my best friend, my girlfriend of three years, the high A’s in all five of my classes (which can be linked to item #2 on my list), and motivation to continue toward my dreams. Not only that, but within the next two months I’m going to lose my grandmother to lung cancer. I just feel like it’s not worth the trouble it would take to give a crap anymore. I’m not looking for sympathy…I’m not that kind of person. I just need to know there are other people out there who’ve been in this boat before. That would be so much help just to KNOW I’m not alone in this feeling. I would love to delve into the stories on how I got to this point, but there’s just not enough caffeine in me to get me through that chore. A good rant was what I needed.

I’m in a similar boat myself…you are most definitely not alone.
I’m not in a boat. How dare you consider that you are on a boat. I personally like to beleive that I’m on a blimp. Like the Hindenburg or something. Ha jk man.
If anyone can cheer you up, rowass can :)
Hey starry whats up. Got a new career yet?
Uh sorry Wombly boy but it sounds like you need to jump ship. Swim to shore and buy a dam car. Metaphorically speaking. Well I suppose if you are on a boat right now that would be a good thing to do.
Jwombles….I feel better just knowing that someone else out there is just as lost..hopefully it helps you
You can continue to fight the battle, take a day at a time..or give up…I suppose it is just a choice..good things will come again, they always do
Man I am the only perosn who isn’t depressed. I can’t really help you buddy. Sorry. But Starry sure can. If you want a good joke I’m here for ya.
I’m blessed with plenty of things. I have a great family, two really great friends, and I don’t wallow in my own self pity on a regular basis. I feel great about myself. It’s just that these things have been building up and up and up, and the only reason I made this profile, oh say, twenty minutes ago, was to just VENT how I feel, and hope there were other people who would understand. The people I talk to now, i.e parents, sibs, friends, etc., don’t really know where I’m coming from, and they spend more time talking than listening to what I have to say. I really do appreciate you guy’s support though….i love a good joke.
Ok I have a funny quote for you then. Don’t take life too seriously. You’re not getting out alive anyways.
Point noted….I feel a little better now. Starry, whats bothering you?
A french fry walks into the bar and says to the bartender “Hay , could I get a beer please”
The barthened looks at him shacking his head and say “No, we don’t serve food here”
This is to show you guys that some people are worse off than you.
A man receives a phone call from his doctor.
The doctor says, “I have some good news and some bad news.”
The man says, “OK, give me the good news first.”
The doctor says, “The good news is, you have 24 hours to live.”
The man replies, “Oh no! If that’s the good news, then what’s the bad news?”
The doctor says, “The bad news is, I forgot to call you yesterday.”
And here is another funny one.
A: Just look at that young person with the short hair and blue jeans. Is it a boy or a girl?
B: It’s a girl. She’s my daughter.
A: Oh, I’m sorry, sir. I didn’t know that you were her father.
B: I’m not. I’m her mother.
schweet…..well I’m off to bed. Got school in the morning. It’s 12:45 am over here on the east coast. love the jokes. i’ll get on tomorrow, fellas
Cool wombly cool
hey man… hi im in a kind of same situation too..
Look how many people are in the same situation. I am too. Its a real common situation as you can see. I guess its kind of the “waiting room” of life, then when something happens when you have to prepare for another journey thats when you’ll find direction. Don’t worry you will soon find reason or it will find you, its inevitable with time.
yoyo
Just another person with the same feelings. I’m so frustrated with myself…I’m so incredibly lucky to have the lifestyle that I do, but I can’t help feeling overwhelmed and lost sometimes (heh, ok, most of the time). Doesn’t help that these sucky things all seem to happen at once…and to lots of us, it seems =P
