How can I expand my mind?

I feel as though I’m a fairly smart person who knows her current events and just things overall. But I think my mind is still pretty rudimentary; pretty average, y’know? Is there a way I can improve?

Reading books always helps me expand my mind. Also spending hours just watching nature, eg. sitting by a creek and trying to listen to all the differetn noises and see all the different things.

Try opening yourself up a bit more. (you and your dirty mind. You could only think of that sexually)
Try using your left hand only for a week. Mind blowing. Do something you are horrible at. Suck at chess? Learn chess!
Really allows for all around expansion.

Like a boob job for your mind.

World is made out wif different patterns and logics. when u look at a object don’t look the surface take the logic behind. If some one ask your too help on something to solve if you dont know how too solve its OK go ahead and help him/ her to solve those issues by doing that you’ll learn more your brain get trained. Now here is a thing you must do check your IQ…. do a small test how good your solving things… here is a link you can visit and test. http://games.srilankanpal.com/viewtop… ….. if you get more than 120 …. you are good …. u’ll be learning fast… if its bellow 120 See the world in this way=> “World is made out wif different patterns and logics”

There are free language lessons online for almost any language you can think of. Also, reading media articles, buying books on random subjects, joining clubs or volunteering are ways to expland the mind.

If you feel that your mind is rudimentary, then you already know much because you can recognize that there is so much yet to learn. Saying, “I don’t know,” “we don’t know”, “it could be”, “it might be,” “we’re not sure”, is something that experts tend to say a lot (at least in my experience).
I guess expanding the mind is more to do with being able to recognize alternative perspectives rather than learning facts. Actually, using this site is very good for expanding the mind because there are so many different perspectives that people express on here.

It depends if you mean your iq or your way of thinking.

Try to do things differently then yo are used to.
Dont think in a box, like it has to be like THIS or its wrong.

I would recommend reading books in general as many other have, for other things though there are always mind puzzles and number games that work well to. Of course the best things I’ve found to help me were challenging myself mentally in the areas I want to improve. I’ve heard though that word and number puzzles are really good for your memory though.

Language is a foundation of articulate thought: the more ways you know how to express yourself the more expanded your mind. So bone up on that vocabulary by….creating your own JesusMurphy Dictionary!

Read one or two dictionary pages every day and pick out every word or phrase that you really, really liked (or perhaps didn’t know) and write it down on. The number of strange latin and french phrases and truely interesting words will stick in your head, and your verbal verbosity will vault in volume. Your own dictionary of favorite words and phrases, free of all the crap that makes a dictionary boring!

This was something I started to do about 10 years ago and I really enjoyed it, but I slowly stopped doing in over the years and it trailed off around the “D”s. I regret that. Maybe I’ll start it up again…

How can you be so certain, your iq doesnt seem so high looking at your grammatical errors, so when your iq is 105 you should just close your eyes and dont look to far… thats insane.

And what if you care, whilst your iq is below 120 ?.
