work help: Has anybody else with the Sony Erricson W910i had a problem were the phone keeps restarting and putting itself into flight mode? - Help.com

mine keeps saying insert sim its meant to have been repair

hi i am replying to your query about your w910i, i myself bought the handset in october and it has been on of the worst mobile phone choices i could have made. it had the same problem as yours and when i took it to be repaired vodafone said the software to repair this fault would have cost as much as the phone did. so they replaced it, now, 3 months later, i am having the same trouble with the new one! i think this time when i claim my insurance i shall ask for a different phone, but it would be good to hear if there are mored people with similar problems to this.

my phone has a similar problem and when i try toveiw my pictures, music or videos they arnt there and sometimes whilst in media the phone switches its self off the red light at the back comes on and after a while it will switch its self on again. Although everything is still on my phone it is harder to veiw them in file manager. I am also looking for a way to fix my phone with out sending it off so if any one knows how to fix it let me know.

i have heard alot of faults with those phones, but if you go onto the sony erricson website and register your phone, then download the software onto it, then it should work?

if not take it back to were you got it and get it changed
