boyfriend help: I am having a moment of weakness. - Help.com

This post left anonymously

I am having a moment of weakness.

My boyfriend and I broke up after he cheated on me and I am feeling lonely and missing him. I feel like I want to call him. Why would I want to call someone who treated me so badly? Why am I suddenly willing to forgive something so unforgivable? This really sucks.

this is really up to you but i think that you should wait.. give urself time to learn to live without him.. if he cheated once its very likely he will doing it again.. especially if he see that u r willing to accept him back..

Dont worry too much - it happens to everyone after a break up. your memory plays tricks on you and you only remember the good times. I dont think you should phone as he treated you badly and would do it again. Write a list of all the times he lied and cheated and hurt you and keep it beside the phone. this will pass eventually but maybe you need to do something else with your time so you are not thinking of him. Good luck you’re too good for him
