I want a Subaru Brat…

but I’m having plenty of difficulty finding one.
Well, one that isn’t scrapped or located in California.
If anyone that reads this lives in Florida,Georgia, or Alabama
know where one is located that is FOR SALE, please inform me.

I know of a place where there’s two being sold. The following info is on the one I think you’ll have a LOT better luck with. The other one is…being let go for a bit more than it’s worth… Anyway, here we go.

I, (and the brat) is located in Salisbury, NC (40 minutes north of Charlotte NC) and it’s a black 1981 that has been really kept up. My mechanic bought it new in 1980 and there’s minimal rust on it, but of course…still needs some paint. It has a cover on the bed, but some bunch of kids came by and knocked the glass out… He’s wanting to let it go for $2100 and I think it’s a really good buy. If I had the cash I’d have gotten it myself. The interior is all original, and not, repeat not, torn up. I would definitely give him a call if you’re interested…it isn’t going anywhere. I’ve actually got three (had four) of them, and I’ve also got a Subaru GL Wagon =) One of the BRATs is a little less attractive than the other two, but the one I drive is shiny black with a white BRAT logo thing. I’m considering selling the black one, but it’s got like 283,000 miles on it! It runs great and I’ve switched out basically everything including the engine, but I think I’m gonna end up selling it really cheap when I do.
