no… state law (in my state) 17 is considered old enough to make their own decisions. back in 1991, i moved out at 16 when i became pregnant, had to go to court due to going to school and social services was helping me by paying for my apartment.. they took my parents to court for child support.. the judge could not force me to go back home. but again.. the law has changed to 17.
