Pretty impressed with this site and its community.

I was depressed tonight. Lonely.
Went on google looking for help and .. strangely enough wound up at help.com .. lol.

Quickly scanning through some threads I came across a plea for help from someone on danger of suicide .. and I jumped in. But no alone. I was really surprised how people so quickly came to this persons aid and offered themselves up for him. Inviting others to help. The site auto - refreshing messages. Staying with him until he was safe. That was awesome. It made me forget my own problems and .. I’m glad I stopped by and had a chance to be with you all tonight.

Same thing happened to me. Feeling down, I typed in the ‘help’ and got this site. Within minutes I was sucked into a world of offering advice to others and temporarily forgot all about my own problems. It was just the tonic I needed to stop me wallowing. Thank you everyone, you do a great job. I look forward to more evenings being hooked on this site.
