Do you want to check someone’s credentials? If so, just contact the registrar of the school they claim they attended and ask them. I do not think they have permission to tell you grades etc because of FERPA, but they can tell you whether that person graduated with a degree.

However, If you are trying to get credit for a degree that you earned in a country other than the USA, you need to be approved by the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO), so try this page: http://www.aacrao.org/international/i…
