Tonight someone found a little exploit in the site allowing them to redirect you from Help.com to another one. If you have been redirected to this site I do suggest you clear your internet cache and cookies. I also suggest you run an antivirus program to remove and problems that may have occurred. We are now working to disable the redirect however you may notice some pages not working. Please report the page using this link: http://help.com/report and we’ll fix it right away. Was apologize for any inconvenience and we ask that you browse the site tonight with caution. I will try to keep you guys updated until a developer is here.

If you do get redirected to the site we suggest that you hit ctrl + alt + delete, on windows based PCs, and kill your browser by clicking on it and hitting end task. Please report the post where it happened by viewing the link to it, right click it, and click “Copy Link Location” then report that link in this post or to the link stated above. Thank you everyone for your cooperation.

Update: A Yousef, Help.com’s developer, has been contacted about the issue and a patch is currently being pushed though. Until then, do update us on any issue that may come up.

not exactly like that. They replied to posts that had code in it that would make the page redirect to another site. We didn’t see them try to use it in the actual post though. Right now it’s been limited to replies.

We’ve gotten a good handle on it and now and no members should see any posts that contain this code (us mods still need to watch out). If you haven’t been seen the effects of this coding then you don’t have to worry about anything. No account information has been compromised.
